Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms, which apply to the locksmith services we provide.
These Terms & Conditions govern the services provided by QuickSmith Security Solutions Sdn Bhd (“QuickSmith”). By requesting a callout, quote or any work from us, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Our services
We provide locksmith and security services including emergency lockouts, lock supply and installation, re-keying, access control and automotive key work across Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding Klang Valley. The scope of any particular job is agreed with you before work begins.
2. Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on this website are indicative guide ranges. A firm price is confirmed by the attending technician before work starts, based on the actual lock, vehicle or system involved. After-hours, public-holiday and specialist-hardware charges, where they apply, are disclosed to you in advance.
3. Proof of entitlement
For everyone's protection, we may ask for identification and evidence that you are entitled to access the property or vehicle before carrying out any opening or re-keying work. We reserve the right to decline a job where satisfactory proof cannot be provided.
4. Bookings and access
You agree to provide accurate details and safe, reasonable access to the work area. If we attend at an agreed time and cannot gain access or the job has been misdescribed, a callout charge may apply.
5. Payment
Payment is due on completion unless a written account arrangement has been agreed. We accept cash, bank transfer and major e-wallets, and issue a receipt for every payment.
6. Workmanship guarantee
Our labour is covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee. Parts and hardware carry the manufacturer's warranty. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, forced entry, further tampering, or normal wear.
7. Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any single job is limited to the value of that job. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, or for consequential loss beyond our reasonable control.
8. Cancellations
You may cancel a non-emergency booking by giving us reasonable notice. If a technician has already been dispatched, a callout fee may be payable. Refund arrangements are set out in our Refund Policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
