Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 July 2026. This notice explains what we do with your personal information.
This Privacy Policy describes how QuickSmith Security Solutions Sdn Bhd (“QuickSmith”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through quicksmith.pro and in the course of providing locksmith and security services in Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. We handle your information in line with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Information we collect
We only ask for what we genuinely need to help you:
- Contact details — your name, phone number and email address when you call or complete our request form.
- Job details — the address or vehicle involved, the nature of the work, and any access or ownership information required to carry it out lawfully.
- Correspondence — notes from our conversations so we can follow up accurately.
- Website data — basic technical information such as browser type and pages viewed, gathered through cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use your information
Your data is used to respond to enquiries, schedule and complete locksmith work, issue receipts and warranties, and keep records required for our business. We may contact you about a job you have requested. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Sharing your information
We keep your details within QuickSmith and only share them where necessary — for example with a payment provider to process a transaction, or where we are required to by law or a lawful authority. Any partner we use is expected to protect your data to a comparable standard.
Keeping data secure
We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect the information we hold, including restricting access to the staff who need it. Because of the sensitive nature of security work, we are especially careful with records that relate to your locks, keys or premises.
How long we keep it
We retain job and contact records only for as long as needed to support warranties, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which the information is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or limit how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
